There were also reports of people trying to get insurance on the day their house was under threat. There was one report (true?) where people were trying to arrange insurance and apparently they could hear the firefighters yelling to them to get out. LOL
Can't belive people don't hve it (or travel insurance). Many people under insure thinking they wouldn't lose it all so only half insure. They don't realise if you half insure you get half the claim.
You hear all the horror stories but some people will do anything to save a few dollars. I must admit I hate paying my life insurance and keep talking about quitting it but knowing my luck I'd get run over the day after.
