couple of weeks that other forumites will start talking about where they are gonna be on NYE.You may find a lot of people are gonna be home in Oz for Christmas but heading to Bali afterwards.Everyone is probably too busy at the moment thinking about getting over Christmas before they think of NYE.Many of the forumites who are there now will probably be back home by NYE.
I am sure if you start chatting to others from BTF ( online before you leave) who are there at the same time as you that someone will come up with an idea about where you could all have a fun night together.Otherwise head down to S & S or the Indo National & you will sure to catch up with other forumites.
