I have actually never bought any clothes in Bali. I am a 16(aus) and don't like anything in the "big girls" gear. I go a lot and know all the places but find it unflattering. Of course a sarong fills a lot of needs, towel, skirt, dress etc etc depending on how you tie it. If your lady is small she will get heaps.
Sunscreen more expensive in Bali than US.
If you are leaving soon you will probably overpack cos it is cold in US and it's hard to get your head around how hot it will be in Bali. Forget shoes buy them there.
