My mum just come back and in her hunt for the cheapest insurance she didn't read the pre exixting. Travel agent asked if she had any pre exixting and she said no.
Turns out if you have a heart bypass over 3 years ago then you must answer yeas to pre existing. Hers was 9 years ago and no problems since!!!! Well until she was in Bali and she had to spend a night in BIMC. Excellent facillity she says but you get charged for everything they do like takinh blood pressure etc.
Bottom line is it cost her $3000 and she wan't be able to claim it all to save a few $$$.
