happens in the villages if anyone is caught doing the wrong thing.I have been told some incredible stories by expat friends who have Balinese wives or husbands who hear a lot more from around the villages than they do as Bules.Also heard stories from locals who are friends about the Balinese version of justice for thieves etc.
While I disagree with anyone taking the law into their own hands we need to remember that this is not our own country or culture we are talking about.A blind eye is turned to a lot of things in Bali & Indonesia is not the only country in the world where corruption happens on any level.
