we have 2 kids now 8 and 10 and we have been going together for the last 6 years and cant get enough of the place. Do a search on the forum for Bali virgins guide (think thats what it is called) and it will give you an idea of what to pay for things when shopping if you are bargaining.
If taking cash over (we always do) make sure you go to reputable money changers such as PT Central which can be located within Kodak shops or the banks. Not being familiar with Tuban I cannot recommend any in that area. Again anything you want to know can be accessed by using the search buttons.
Waterbom park is a must with the kids. so is the Bali Budaya bicycle tour which the whole family could do. A visit to Dreamland Beach is also nice as well. Be wary of the timeshare people that offer free holidays and scratchy cards. Do not show any interest and say no and put your head down and keep walking. Keep your money safe with you at all times and careful when handing money over that you are using the right notes as the noughts on the rupiah notes can be very confusing.
Have lots of massages, cocktails and many bintangs!!!!
