Daylight saving and travel times

Hi guys
Just got my flight confirmations for early next year with Garuda.
Flight out is 4 hours 20 minutes return is 2 hours 40 mins....usual flight tomes ex Perth is 3 to 3 1/2 hours....I suspect daylight saving is to blame for the time differences.....travel agent was not able to tell me why there is so much of a difference in flight times.
Can anyone explain this
