at our house Trisha & they have been bought up with daylight savings. They have learnt in their lives that after Mum & Dad get up that we shower, get dressed & eat breakfast - after that they are all
fed before we go to work. When we get home we relax & when it is starting to get dark the animals are fed & bought inside for the night.

Our family pets are very clever but they can't yet read a clock.Like most dogs, cats etc - they can't tell the time.Animals go by the sun so when it is light they wake up & when it is dark they sleep - but as domesticated family pets they also learn behavioural patterns such as what happens in their own household. This has been happening on earth for 1000's of years.

I have lived in SA most of my life & heard all the arguments about fading curtains, kids not going to bed etc.I know the majority of my WA family & friends voted against it but in a democracy - the majority rules & we gotta accept it.

Sorry you don't like it but it seems you are stuck with it for at least 3 years. From a business persons point of view it sure makes dealing with WA a lot easier.Anyway no matter what you are still way closer to Bali time than us here in SA - so be thankful ! And you also still have direct flights there.
