i find little india good for clothes, but you have to search the smaller shops near the mustafa shopping centre and it depends on what you wear i guess. cheap silk ties,polo shirts,jeans and womens perfume.
electrical etc. in mustafa is basically the same prices as australia.
if you want cheaper beer,go to the cheaper looking food halls and drink where the locals hang out. they don't drink a lot though i find.
singapore shopping is not what it used to be. (cheap electrical etc)
i went to huge shopping centre near jurong outside the city.this was more local shopping and cheaper.Can't remember the name though.
