We have never in our 17 years of travelling to Bali had problems with porters grabbing our luggage. We were in Bali this year and there were five of us returning home, when we decided to use one for the first time. We had five cases that were heavy and I mean heavy when we grabbed two porters just outside the airport. Well it was one of the best ideas we have ever had as it ended up being so hassel free as they took it all the way but it never left our sight. The porters would wait patiently for us to get ourselves through and then took it right to where it was checked in.
