My Fiance and I were granted a fiance visa in september this year We have been together for 5 years to obtain this visa was hard work but it paid off in the end, we had alot of information such as photos, emails, letters, Xmas & Birthday cards (we had sent to each other)copies of phone bills and statements from Western Union(money transfer)we also got 3 of my friends and 3 of my fiance's friend to write a letter saying that our relationship was geniune and so on..., it took us about 3-4 months to get all our information together and make it presentable unfortunatley once this is handed in and he had his medical test done it was a waiting game until he had his interview in Jakarta then after that it took about 4 weeks to be approved over all it took us 7 months to be granted which is pretty good I had alot of support from my family and I didn't find it to be to expensive all up with immigration fees, a medical test & airfares I think it was around the 10,000 mark.
