to get the passport, they need a letter from their place of employment just to say they work there, and for how long, KTP (ID card) KARTU KELUARGA (family card) birth certificate and they will take your photo at the immigration office.
Get to the office early, and get in line quick for the photo to be taken, then wait .. can be quick...can be forever to be called in for a quick interview (my partner was anyway) they usually ask why are you gettting a passport?
He just answered to visit my future parents in law...and the immigration offical just laughed and said ok, its approved. And then another hour or so later..we had the passport in our hands. Simple!!!
