I agree NEVER bring emprty bags. Even o the occasion where I have decided to go to Bali the following day I still manage to grab some things out of my wardrobe. The kids are used to me runninmg in to their rooms saying "I'm off to Bali, what don't you need".
I have been getting people from work to bring in old glasses for next trip. Every time I have something I put it i a case in the garage ready for next trip.
Can't believe you sound so positive after a bad start. I guess that's the trick isn't it. Stay positive. Glad things are turning out for you. Looking forward to more tales.
