That you dont get scammed!! The people are just lovely and will not hassel too much (even tho they getting bit desperate for sales) but you are totaly safe nothing untowards will happen!!!!
The best way is to get a base of what the transfer rate is say 50,000rp is about 12-14aust and work on that with every purchase so you know what you are realy paying and weather or not it is worth it, and if something sounds to high just say "Tidak Terima Kashi" (no thankyou) and walk off, if they realy want to sell to you they will follow and drop the price realy quick!!
I know that the balinese are having a hard time with not so many tourists being around but there is no point paying more then you would in Australia for something!!
