I am doing this from Perth on 23 December, and my flight is leaving at 18.20 and arriving Jakarta at 20.45. The connecting flight is not until the next day, leaving 8.10. Luckily I am able to stay with my husband's family overnight, so no need to pay for accomodation.
My return flight also via Jakarta leaves Bali on 7 January at 21.00 and arrives Jakarta at 21.40, then wait in transit until the flight to Perth departs at 1.15am.
