we normally book our sept. trip around march with accom. for 4 days in sanur and some hotels will give you a 5th night free.the besakih does offer this.
then i email my preferred hotel in tuban and barter via email and book a further 10 nights direct with the hotel.
Your agent may reserve seats on the plane earlier just so you have bums on seats guaranteed and you can book the accom. later if you want.
if any specials come out they generally don't cover the school holidays anyway.
