Hi Jayde, Thanks for your comments, yes Bali is certainly the winner. We have been to Phuket,had a great time as it was Sonkran, the new year, lots of things happening at night, our young daughter had a ride on a baby elephant, the shopping at that time wasn't fantastic but that wasn't what we went for. Going to CM was to see the more traditional Thai & a different view of Thailand and I am glad we went. We live 30mins from the Gold Coast so we have always had access to great beaches.
