Hi, its's been a while since I've stayed at the MBR, at that time the new hotel section was just opened & whilst the rooms were big & spacious it was annoying walking up & down the stairs, especially after a heavy day of shopping. The old section in the grounds nearer to the beach are very nice, they are very spacious & you have a lovely verandah at the front, easy walk to breakfast. I'd go for them. My comment on breakfast, I really think it must depend on the cooks as, after 3 stays there, I have not been impressed with the breakfast, maybe I've been spoilt by other places like Alam Kul Kul, but you can never tell.
