We stayed there also only for one night.. (thank God) and hated it.. but everyone has their own opinions...
dont get a room on the same side as the hard rock hotel...its too noisy... the location of the hotel itself is great...right across from Kuta beach...and you'll be able to see the sunsets... get higher than the 3rd floor...otherwise your view will be blocked by the trees.. !!
The pool is nice up on the top floor...again great views from up there.
The staff were friendly but hopeless at their job, (especially the phone operator) The rooms were quite dark without enough lighting... and the breakfast was pretty ordinary.... but again this is only our experience for one night because of flights cancelled back to Jakarta...so maybe we werent in a good mood by then hehehehe...... !!!
