In Jalan Padma just around the corner from the MBR is Tommy's leather they are excellent if black leather and short probably 600,000 Rup. There is another one in Rum Jungle Road called Hero Leather which we have used many times and also very good.
We buy our DVD's and CD's from a shop in Rum Jungle Road which is near the Jayakarta hotel and so far have only had one bad one in about 60 DVD'they are 10,000Rupia each buy 10 get 3 free. CD's from the same shop have not bought many but think about 25,000Rup.
There is a small supermarket right at the front gate of the hotel and the Bintang Supermarket is about a 20 minutes walk or a short taxi ride in Jalan Legian heading towards Seminyak
There are heaps of cheap restuarants around the hotel in both directions and also walk out to the beach and turn right past the Jayakarta hotel and there are 6 or more really good restaurants on the beach front.
