Nov.05 for 5 nights and Sept. 06 for 6 night...both times with a group of 12 people. The first time the hotel was nearly empty so it was a totally different experience this past September. I love the location and there are lots of restaurants close by. The beach sellers can be abit agressive but they do have so good stuff to sell. They were 100% full in September so we had trouble getting a chair by the pool. I can't say the staff were ovrely friendly but it is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are well decorated and comfortable...great bed covers and pillow. The pool is beautiful and so are the gardens. The internet is expensive, but then that's typical at most 5* hotels. The breakfast was not your typical Balinese buffet but we loved it. You get to order from a menu as well as select from the buffet...a very nice combination. The beach is really dark sand which looks dirty but that is really my only complaint.

They are apparently doing very well as I am trying to negotiate a group rate for April.07 and they are raising their rates. It's surprising as so many hotels are crying for business but they seem to have a great clientele...lots of Europeans, some Asians and a few Aussies. We are from Canada and had a great time there both stays.
