And if you believe that Karma comes into it, well we're generally responsible for that too, aren't we?

Nothing would have saved my first marriage and, no, we never visited Bali together. We just did like many young people do, got together on the basis of "Wow, I like the look of that one!" We wouldn't get a dog or buy a car just on that basis, would we? One of the reasons why it's often said that youth is wasted on the young. {No I'm not a cynic, I don't really believe that. LOL]

I was with my second wife for over 22 years [not married] and we were inseparable. We went to Tanah Lot a few times too. I sadly lost her a few years ago.

I went there last year with my ladyfriend, for our second time together. I am so lucky to have met her and we have been so close for over 3 years. We were accompanied by my son and his Balinese wife of 8 or 9 years. Obviously this superstition doesn't bother them either and why should it?

If you believe in God [or Gods], do you really think that it would be ordained for you and your partner to suffer, just because you visited Tanah Lot? And if you don't have a spiritual belief, then it's just no big deal, is it?

Tanah Lot is a very special place. One of the most photographed places in Bali. And the locals rely on visitors to provide enough income for them to put rice on their family tables. So that alone should help our Karma along, shouldn't it?

Once seen, never forgotten. You'll love it!
