No, we are flying via Singapore both ways, but on the way back are having a look around Singapore and staying overnight for something a bit extra! The airline also has good "transit packages" for Singapore hotels, transport and admissions. But thats just the side bit, we are more excited about out time in beautiful Bali!
It does make for a fairly drawn out flight but was the best we could do as I said Garuda was full! The deal I got was $1800pp inc tax and 14 nts at Hard Rock. I am not sure how cheap (or expensive) this is (I dont hunt an awful lot for the cheap as chips prices) but it seemed pretty reasonable to us.
