My husband and I bought a place in Bali this summer and plan to retire there as soon as possible from Canada though we know it will not be soon enough. We looked at real estate with a company and on our own and ended up buying a place in Tony's T Houses near Ubud mainly because of their philosophy of working with the villagers. Check out their website under Tony's T houses, I think there are still some for sale. They are also working on a new development in East Bali for 2007.
