Hi Shane
I complete ours at home - one less thing to worry about at the airport. I date it for the day of travel.
Why is it that I'm the one to fill out the whole families year after year? I am going to get my 17 year old to do his own next year in preparation for his solo visits.
A little tip - I record our passport details i.e. number/place of issue/date of issue and expiration plus the flight numbers on the back of a business card.
When you are in the air the cabin crew will issue you with the Indonesian Immigration and Customs Cards. It is so much easier to pull out your business card from your pocket/wallet than getting up to your cabin bag in the overhead locker to retrieve passports.
I also complete the Australian declaration cards as soon as I check in my luggage for the trip home. I still see people completing forms 10 minutes before landing after getting no sleep on those red-eye flights. Being organised = less stress.
Enjoy your holiday
