Previously I stayed at the Bali Senia (Jalan Danau Poso)on a regular basis. Nowdays I have my own villa. The Senia is a very good budget place. Great staff, plus you are right about the cold beer (this is very important with me). I was actually there on Melbourne Cup Day. They had live music and a great gang of people. Easily beats the big hotel chains where the money is going to the "rich few". At least with places like the Bali Senia I know that my money is going directly to people who live here.
