Bali is NOT perfect. People who come to this Forum for information should be told what the reality is. There are so many wonderful things about Bali as we all well know. But Bali is NOT Shangri-La, Nirvana or any other perfect place. It has a great deal going for it but people who refuse to acknowledge any negative aspects of Bali do potential travellers a misservice cos it ain't the reality. There are aspects of the Bali experience that are far from pleasant, but some refuse to admit that, seemingly wearing rose-coloured glasses constantly. Happily though the negative experiences are usually far outweighed by the positives. I dislike the "positive comments only" theme here from some people. Tell it like it is, I say. Experiences in Bali, both the good & the bad, should be aired here.
