that's the place we stayed at too. Was a few years ago for us also.
The staff i was going to ask about was that really (big) cook. Wore his shorts hitched up by braces. Lovely guy. However it seems you may have stayed at about the same time as us.
Did you see any wild elephants on the river? We searched and searched and nada but others saw them.
