For a start if you want to buy something thats really "aussie" by all means start buying it now....
but simple things like.. pencils, colored markers, exercise books, pencil cases etc..you can get all of that in Bali for MUCH CHEAPER prices...and it will save you on the luggage weight...
for the kids of the village, I'd suggest soccer balls, or even badminton sets...
is the child male or female?
