I had five trips with AP & saved hundreds using the airline as opposed to others. Due to the collapse I too lost my money & was devastated but more so that I missed out on my trip and seeing my friends. Figured it was best to get over the loss & concentrate on saving for the next trip to Paradise. You win some & you lose some. No point festering over something that is over & cant be changed.
It is your personal choice if you use AP when they restart & I hope to god that they do OK & bring lots of business to the Balinese because they need it.
We may have suffered briefly from the collapse but its ongoing for our poor Indonesians friends. They have had to deal with one thing after another thats deterring people from returning. Bombs, drug smuggling, airline collapses, the list goes on.
