you weren't having a go, nor was I. My biggest regret was that I had been forewarned about the collapse of AP weeks before it happened, however I had also been told it wasnt likely to eventuate until 2006.
Alas, I took the gamble and lost. Paid cold hard cash direct to them. Will never do such a fool hardy thing again if I hear just a hint that an airline is in trouble.
The money is gone and I am unlikely to ever see a cent. I too am in a fortunate position where I could just rebook and pay for another ticket with Garuda, many weren't. I would have to think long and hard about giving them business if they return to our skies. cheers :-)
