We have just come back from 14 days at MBR - great place.
We had a suite room in the new wing (these are now called delux rooms)2 familys (4 adults & 4 kids)in rooms 165 & 166 ground floor directly in front of pool. Rooms very big, friendly staff.
My advice if you are taking kids is to always have a ground floor room - tiles/floor is always slippery in Bali and with kids in and out of pool all the time there is always a chance of them slipping down the stairs.
We are going back there next year - hope you have a great time.
