formal dress material from Denpasar absolutly beautiful. We didn't have my daughter with us so we chose to bring it home and get the dressmaker(from her dance studio) to make it, her formal is next Wednesday. I got 10 mitres of Bali satin (nothing like our satin it's crush proof and shimmery rather than shinny) and 5 mitres of Bali Lace, You even bargain for the material. lucky she was really happy with it as it was a risk all she said was i want burgandy(opps the colour is the only details i can give out until after next Wednesday, its top secret these days, except for mums(me) i have been to most of the fittings and its absolutly gorgeous, had her hair coloured yesterday she went out tonight and wore her hair up and a hat to hide it. Definitly different to our days hahaha I think its harder and dearer with girls. With my son we had a suit made in Bali boys are easier.)
Sorry i can't help you with the tailor but i can help you with material.
The dressmaker that has made it has done us a good price so i don't think i would of got it made any cheaper in Bali and without her there was no way i was going to risk it as she designed it herself for her HSC textiles and design subject (only the teacher saw the design)
It is pretty stressful, gawd help us if she gets married.
Good luck.
