My son had a bad reaction and ended up with an infection and 2 years on and 2 further trips to Bali and he has a permanent fox tattoo now on his right upper arm - we cleared the infection with Aloe Vera plant break a piece off and open to the sticky stuff and rub straight on - noticed the difference overnight.
My husband had one this year and he reacted badly as well - the aloe vera cleared it in a day and no mark was left.
