Hi there we just got back from the Dynasty about 4 weeks ago now!! It is great it was my first time in Bali with my very experianced mate, she stays at the Dynasty every year!!
The pool staff are great, they are so good with the kids and they keep you well interested with lots of activities going on by the pool all day!! The volley ball at 4pm every day is a must do for sure and on Thursdays the management comes out to play and if you beat them they pay for the Bintang!!!
I dont know what kind of room you are staying in but the garden view or the pool view are the best rooms and its better to upgrade when you get to the hotel!! We started off in a superiour family room which was great, it had a huge bed then it had a sliding dividing door which had a single bed with a trundle bed under it and also a sofa bed!!!!
We then got a special upgrade price and went to the garden view rooms, these were much better, you didnt have a dividing door between all the beds but it was great to have your own balcony with chairs to sit on and also good to be closer to the pool area!! They are refurbishing alot of their rooms so it's only getting better.
Oh for a great resturant thats cheap too is directaly across the road from the Dynastys entrance is DADDY'S CAFE they are just lovely and you get to sit up there and watch Bali flow by below you!! The food is absolutley delicious and is huge portions and there is a lovely lady who works there who's hair goes all the way down to her ankels!!! You definatly must try eating at Daddy's for sure, and as a first timer to Bali i was not sick (bali belly) from their food!!!!
Hope you love your holiday and if you get a chance and your into it ask one of the locals or taxi drivers to take you to the Big blue Kareoke Bar!! It was great fun, you get your own room with a huge screen and aircon and you have total control over the music!! You can get a waitress who will stay with you for the night too if you want she will control the music for you and make sure the drinks keep coming!!! Brilliant night!!
