We stayed in Sanur in July 06 and we got married in Nusa Dua.
We havent stayed at the Paneeda View we usually stay at the Sanur Paradise Plaza Hotel. We are not die hards and we do love bali. As to security we felt safe at all times we are not big nightclubbers and out too late every night. We usually go to Corridor, Arena Sports Cafe, Pergola, Randy's Bar and Restaurant for meals and entertainment. We have always felt very safe.No I dont believe the hawkers and shopkeepers have become more aggresive due to drop in business Yes they are desperate for a sale but if you say no thanks they usually leave you be. Especially when they have seen you around for a couple of days they just want to have a chat and thank you for coming back most of the time. Enjoy your time in Bali.
