Hi Christine, the Jayakarta is great for families. There were plenty of kids there and families, some teenagers, plenty of younger kids round the 10 to 12 years. We dont think the it is particularly a huge complex it is easy to get around. We booked rooms in the 300 block this time (400 last year) so we were very close to the pool and restaurants. Like you we love the Legian area and we are also looking at returning in the September/October school holidays of 2007. Hope this helps
