It is about the same and no better position depending on your activities. Most companies have pick up services though make sure you book tours with the correct insurance as some have very limited coverage and a medivac out of the gorge will cost you a small fortune. So for the sake of paying a few extra $, just a bit reassurance. Also are you after items such as a gym, pilates, yoga etc as there are a couple of classes around.
