I found that any place that charges only 50,000 for a steak is using LOCAL STEAK...anything imported is usually about 80 - 100 thousand rupiah or more.
Steaks from the local supermarkets is usually fine, and ive never had any problem with it. Just always check the use by date..but you should always check that in Aussie as well.
