We arrived in Auckland, collected our campervan, drove to north of north island, back down to Wellington, crossed over to the south island and drove around to depart from Christchurch.
We agree, a really lovely country. Magnificent countryside and views. Both islands are so different and both really special.
We also believe that all of the unpleasant NZers come to Australia, as we didnt meet any other than wonderfully friendly people.
We did miss the Bali hot weather and returned to Bali the following year.
We would love to return to NZ again to explore more.
