Thanks for all the responses so far! To give you a bit more background info:
We're in our mid-20s, but not really into the whole party scene. We're just looking to relax, walk around, maybe do some touristy stuff. I would also love to get some spa treatments!
I think we're looking at 3-4 star accomodations. I was thinking of even spliting our 6 night stay between a lower end and a higer end hotel/villa. As for food, bargain bites are great and I would love to try more local food (versus tourist traps), but I'm sure we'll want to splurge on a meal or 2 as well.
Given this additional information, is asiarooms.com the best way to look for accomodations?
Also, is it necessary to get a driver? or is everything within walking distance?
