Just got back and stayed a few days at the Gardenview, the pool looks like it is a long way off from being finished. Possibly will be done by next June but there didn't seem to be too much action going on around it when we were there. The new rooms are great, nice furniture and TV and DVD player, we were originally booked into the bugalows...DO NOT STAY IN THESE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!! They should have been demolished years ago, we paid $60 per night for it and have stayed in better rooms over asia for $5.00, wouldn't have stayed in them if they offered them for free. Tiles just in front of shower but rest of floor was just dirt, open windows and guy there stayed in them the previous night and said he had rats in and out of the room all night. We asked to be moved and paid extra to stay in the new rooms. They told us the bungalows are marked for demolition and that heaps of people complain about them so can't understand why they still use them. Anyway, apart from that GVC are great.
