getting a taxi in perth (last month we had over a 3 hour wait in northbridge). Recently we were told about a private taxi company (this one operates out of ocean reef). Anyway, you pre-book and get quoted a price.
It is a fantastic idea. 2 weeks ago we had a big group going out in Joondalup, he picked us up, dropped us off and we arranged a time for him to come and collect us. It worked out really well.
It seems in Perth at the moment gone are the days of just walking out of the airport or a restaurant straight into a taxi.
