If you have one in your hotel room, ask the hotel if you can buy it.
Saves having to look for one. You might even come across one in a restaurant and find they are willing to sell it to you (at a small profit of course).

When we were in Sanur in June we liked a painting that was hanging in our room. First of all the manager said she would be able to get one for us just like that, but then before we left, said we could buy the one on the wall. Only paid 100,000 Rp for the large painting which was stretched over a wooden frame.
