it's too humid for rain ponchos! You might like to stay at Pemuteran, up north west, some nice hotels, the Taman Sari has a coral restoration program on their beach, and it's a nice place to stay. You could do a snorkelling or diving trip to Menjangan Island, which has the best coral in my opinion anyway in Bali.
