We are taking our 15 month old next march to bali and have asked jetstar what luggage allowance he will have and we were told a pram and baby car seat but no extra luggage. I asked if we can take an extra bag as the baby wont need a carseat but they said no. Interesting although we dont pay for a ticket for the kids, the babys are the ones who take up the most space in a case but have no allowance.
Last year we went to Bali and were only able to keep pram until suitcase checking then used the pouch until boarding the plane but coming back from Bali was able to keep pram until going into the departure lounge which was very handy. Next trip ive got a pram i just bought that folds to go on as hand luggage so can keep in the whole time.
