Just got back this morning into Melbourne and Qantas are using their oldest 767's on the Bali routes at present,which are about to fall to bits and are third world.
Was very sceptical of the Jetstar to Bali idea originally, but the product (two classes and pick and choose what you want) with the brand spanking new fleet of A330's means it will be far superior to what AA was offering and what Qantas is doing to the route at present.
There is even talk of the first Qantas batch of Boeing 787's due in early 2008 going to straight to Jetstar to run their international routes which will be fantastic.
