Om Swastiastu youse guys!
I was just saying to Mrs Pie this very morning, I said, Mrs Pie, did you dream you heard the Hools call my name last night? Yes I did, said Mrs Pie. And I dreamt that you replied to the call of the Hools too. Twice in fact, she said, alluding to the fact that a link might not have worked as it was supposed to ...
But look, said I. Nothing here! It must have been something in the Malibu and Coke. Maybe it was possums playing on the roof. And so with the thought of balmy Bali breezes and Malibu and Coke it is time to answer the apparently unasked question ...
So Hools, you want to know where the Pie People are eh?
Well, Mr Pie has been experimenting with his own Nasi Goreng. And he has to say, rather modestly, that it is pretty darn good. Last week he created a version of Chicken Gordon Blue. It was just like the original too. Shame about that.
Mrs Pie still dreams of reflexology after dinner.
It doesn't help when Mr Pie creates that culinary masterpiece either!
But it is never quite the same. Woolies just doesn't have the same feel to it as Matahari. And The Warehouse The Warehouse (Where everyone gets a bargain) ain't no Makro. Mr Pie thought the Target people were going to call security. He still reckons that he had made a great offer on the DVDs though.
The Pies travelled to the Big City last weekend. They walked the streets of Newtown ... the restaurants smelt great, and the curries were superb, but it wasn't Legian. Or Kuta Square. Certainly wasn't Poppies 1 or 2. And there sure weren't those huge smiles all over the place! And it is rather strange - because the taxis didn't toot all the time - and there weren't any people trying to sell us timeshares. So Mrs Pie couldn't even practice her German!
I suspect that Mrs Pie has a longing to return to check out the clothing again. (I think she really wants to update her Big Bums in Bali report!) She reckons that her own particular big bum is getting plenty of coverage from the tailor-made outfits from Janoko ...
Its all a bit exciting really. Drive to work. Drive home again. Drive to work. Drive home again. We really really really need to get back to Bali ... and it will happen. Mr Pie has decreed it! Make it so! And sooner rather than later. This time though, we'll have the Party Pies in tow.
In the meantime, for those people who are wondering what on earth this is all about, just below here you'll find the link to our good proper works fast website with our JBRs and Big Bums in Bali Report and pictures and all that stuff on it ...
Cheers
The Pies
