we have had problems with flights the last three years to bali. each time has been late dec to mid jan and every year we have had to be waitlisted or play around with the dates to get there.
this year we booked in july and it was still hard to organise.
i hope you have a good trip to broome despite the cost and have better luck next time you try to get to bali.
