We were in Ubud for Galungan and Kuningan last year. On Kuningan we went to the temple in the Monkey Forest to see the ceremony. After he had finished his ceremonies our driver (beautifully dressed with a decorated car) took us to the Bird Park and Reptile Park. We went shopping in the afternoon and had dinner at Cafe Wayan. Almost everything was open, certainly in the afternoon / evening.
